Activities done till now

The Department of IT, Himachal Pradesh received guidelines for CSC scheme from Department of IT, GoI.
Based on the guideline received the department issued a notification for appointment of an Executive Committee to oversee implementation of CSC scheme in the state.
Society for Promotion of IT and E-governance (SITEG) was appointed as the State Designated Agency (SDA).
The SDA officials along with the representatives of National Level Service Agency (NLSA) prepared the RFP for the implementation of CSC scheme in the state.
The draft RFP was submitted by NLSA for approval by the CSC Executive Committee.
The CSC RFP after approval from the Executive committee was sent to Department of IT, GoI for their approval, which was received on 27th October 2007.
Due to elections in the state and implementation of the moral code of conduct the issuance of RFP got delayed. The SDA floated the RFP on 9th February 2008 inviting technical and financial bids for setting up of 3366 CSCs in the state.
The Pre-bid meeting with potential bidders was held on 26th February 2008.
The Technical and Financial Bid evaluation was conducted on 17th and 18th March 2008.

The following bidders were short listed for the three divisions:

As per the directions of the Executive committee a Letter of Intent was issued to consortium of Tera Software Limited & GNG Trading Company Pvt. Ltd. on 29th May 2008 and to Zoom Developers Pvt Ltd. on 11th July 2008.
The Master Service Agreement has been finalised as per the guidelines received from Department of India, GoI.
MSA singed with M/s Zoom Developers for Kangra Division on 30th August, 2008.
MSA is to signed on 8th September, 2008 for Shimla and Mandi Division.
